Synopsis
Epics Upended was a trilogy of work exploring untold stories in mythology, bringing them to a new light through the medium of circus performance.
What Lies Beneath, Two Arrows, De-Scent
Devised in collaboration with the performers, What Lies Beneath subverts the stereotype of the siren, and rethinks the presentation of women as the villain or ‘femme fatal’ in mythology. It explores themes of transformation, sexuality, and the power of water.
